Potentially MAJOR development in the mobile space, threatening the ‘closed’ or ’semi-closed garden’ content model that telcos have so far enjoyed, this OpenMoko looks like it may have enough juice to catch on beyond the mobile-geek community. Lots of links and information can be found here. Time will tell how this stacks up with the iPhone, but they have to launch the sucker first, and it’s already delayed by several months.
